David Cieslak  |  Bob C. Gaby

David Cieslak CPA, CITP, GSEC

He is currently an instructor for K2 Enterprises and frequent speaker for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and other state accounting societies.  He speaks on computerized accounting topics, information security, handheld computing, electronic commerce, Linux and the Windows operating environment.  He has taught micro-computer classes for California State University at Northridge and written articles for The Quantum PC Report for CPAs, CSCPA Outlook, California CPA, and the AICPA InfoTech Update.  He is currently on the editorial board of Harcourt Brace's CPA Technology and Internet Advisor and the California CPA.  He is a Sage Accpac ERP Certified Consultant, a Windows Certified Professional and holds the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC).

David presently serves on the Arxis Technology Alliance board of directors and CalCPA Council.  He is the past president of the California CPA Education Foundation and an active participant with the CalCPA State Technology Committee and Westside Micro-computer Users Discussion Group.   He is past chairman of the CalCPA State Technology Committee and former member of the AICPA Information Technology Practices Sub-Committee.  He is a member of various other AICPA and CalCPA planning committees for courses, conferences and computer shows.

Bob C. Gaby CPA, CITP, MCP

Bob C. Gaby, CPA, has over 20 years of technology consulting and public accounting experience. He is a founder and principal in Arxis Technology, Inc. (Arxis Technology) and a partner in Hamilton, Boynton and Associates, a full service accounting firm affiliated with Arxis Technology. Bob specializes in the design, implementation, integration and support of client/server accounting systems, business management solutions and custom applications for the distribution industry.

Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting and Finance from California State University at Northridge in 1981.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Microsoft Certified Professional designation.  Bob and Arxis Technology are resellers, developers and consultants for several top-selling accounting systems including Sage MAS 90®, MAS 200®, MAS 500®, and Sage Accpac .  He is also a reseller and consultant for Radio Beacon™, a leading mid-market Warehouse Management System. 

Bob is a frequent speaker for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Society of California Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants, the Arxis Technology Alliance, state computer shows, local user groups and colleges, and is an associate instructor for K-2 Enterprises.  He has written and taught courses on Microsoft Windows, information systems, accounting systems, office automation, and network implementation.  Mr. Gaby is a member of the CSCPA State Technology Committee and Program Chairman of the Los Angeles CSCPA Chapter Westside Technology Users Group.  He has also served as a member of various other CSCPA planning committees for courses, conferences and computer shows. 

Bob lives in Santa Clarita, California with his wife and three children.  In his spare time he enjoys camping, flying and coaching Jr. High and High School basketball. He currently serves in an advisory capacity to several community and civic organizations and is the past treasurer of the Western LA County BSA council.
